Bringing People Together for a Great Time
It might be as simple as a cup of coffee with a dear friend; enjoying a comforting, satisfying meal with your family; attending an outdoor live music concert with 1000 people or a stunning wedding weekend event for 150. Creating events, spaces, and occasions to bring people together is critically important for the strength of our community. Whenever people come together in a shared experience, connections are reinforced or forged for the first time. We believe that building relationships is vital for the survival of our small businesses and our rural communities. A customer at Café 191, the music nights, or Homestead 191 events will feel the real welcome that begins a relationship – not just a transaction based on service for a price. We firmly believe that good food shared with good people in a great environment is a vital building block to maintaining a healthy and thriving humanity.
Family Owned and Operated
The Cremer Family is deeply rooted in Melville, and we want to honor the traditions we hold close while inviting people to see rural through a different lens. We want to make Melville, Montana the next hidden gem of a hotspot in Central Montana. We love this area; it’s multi-generational family ranching history and keeper of the Crazy Mountains in our backyard. We are real Montana and will remain so. Café 191 and Homestead 191 are located on our family ranching property, we serve our own ranch raised and locally processed ground beef, the cafe menu also features local lamb, and we work to use local veggies as much as possible to further support our community.
